International auctioneers Bonhams & Butterfields will host its second annual motorcycle auction at
what’s become a much-anticipated annual concours, the Legend of the Motorcycle, held the first weekend of May.
The centerpiece of the auction will be Steve McQueen’s 1940 Indian Scout. Other highlights will include many fully restored American and European classic bikes, as well as legendary daredevil Evel Knievel’s 2004 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail. This exceptional auction takes place on May 3rd at the ocean-side Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California (just south of San Francisco).
