The vehicle also includes the "Baja Bucket" seat, which was designed and patented by Steve McQueen with the intended purpose of reducing injuries in roll over accidents. The legendary vehicle is currently up for sale on ebay for US $235,00.00 or best offer. Previously placed up for auction on ebay in June 2009, the Boot took in a top bid of US $182,100.00, however bidding did not meet the reserve. The Boot sold for US $199,500 at a Bonhams and Butterfields Auction in August 2008. Full details *HERE* Special thanks to Karen Hornbaker for bringing this sale to our attention. |
