The Magnificent Seven Collection coming to Blu ray on May 11, 2010
	The Magnificent Seven Collection has been announced for release on Blu ray on May 11, 2010. Very little information has been released about the set, and at this point it is unknown if it will include any of the special features which were available on the 2 Disk Collectors Edition DVD release of the original. It appears that the set will include the original film, plus the 3 sequels that followed. Blu ray is a next generation home video format which has much higher video resolution than DVD, and requires a special Blu ray player and a Hi Definition television or projector to be viewed correctly.
	May 10 update: It has been confirmed that all four films in the series are included in this set. The Magnificent Seven disk is a mixed bag as far as extra features go. It includes ALL the extra features from the earlier Special Edition DVD, but only includes ONE of the several additional extra features from the later 2 Disk Collectors Edition set. So all in all this is a nice package, but I suspect that they are holding back a few of the available extra features for a later "double dip" release.
