The original Thomas Crown Affair was the first movie that gave us a good look at Steve McQueen as an automobile enthusiast and capable stunt driver. One of three interesting cars in the film, this ’67 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Coupe was the perfect transport for Thomas Crown, millionaire businessman and bank robber. McQueen never owned this car, although he did own a similar Corniche convertible a decade later. The Thomas Crown Rolls is currently in the Petersen Automotive Museum collection. Photo by Matt Stone.
