| Competing at the ISDT in Germany - 1964 In in a January 2007 poll commissioned by the MCN London Motorcycle Show and held on UK's Yahoo! Cars website Steve McQueen was voted the most iconic biker of all time. Steve took in 25% of the 2254 votes that were registered. In second place was double grand prix world champion Barry Sheene, followed by seven-time MotoGP champion Valentino Rossi in third and daredevil stunt rider Evel Knieval in fourth. Legendary actor and star of the cult biker film The Wild Ones Marlon Brando scored 7th place and coming in lower down in the rankings were actors Tom Cruise and Ewan McGregor who each scored 2% of the votes. |
