Steve McQueen's '76 Porsche Turbo

At the recent 58th annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Carmel, CA (held in mid August), auctioneers
Gooding and Company sold Steve McQueen's 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera for $137,500. This car was a favourite
of Steve's, and he drove it daily during his final years.
Also, during the same weekend that the Porsche was sold, auction house Bonhams and Butterfields sold one
of the two GM/Hickey Baja Boot off-road race cars that Steve and friend Bud Ekins raced together during the 1960's.
The Boot (Boot #1) sold for $199,500.
