McQueen : The Biography

Sandford's is the most recent biography and seems to be thoroughly researched. There are however two notable issues regarding this book.

a) he disagrees with Steve’s first wife, and author of My Husband, My Friend, Neile McQueen Toffell on some points and b) he has a tendency to extrapolate Steve's thoughts and feelings more like a novelist than a biographer.

The latter point made me uncomfortable -- how can the author know these intimate details? -- but this is still the first bio I go to for answers because of the extensive index. It is a must-have for the McQueen collector's library.
