The Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show

Steve's son Chad driving Steve's 1963 Ferrari 250 Lusso.	This coming Saturday June 14 the Porsche 356 Club will host "The Friends of Steve McQueen Car Show." Steve McQueen's well known passion for a wide variety of cars and motorcycles will be honored in this show, the proceeds of which are to benefit the Boys Republic, which Steve himself attended as a youth. On display will be a wide range of classic cars and bikes, including several vehicles owned by Steve himself. There will also be a fly over featuring Steve's PT-17 Stearman airplane (the plane Steve learnt to fly in). Steve's son Chad will be present at the event, and another special guest, Matt Stone, Executive Editor of Motor Trend and author of McQueen's Machines: The Cars and Bikes of a Hollywood Icon, will be doing a book signing between 10.30am and noon. The event will be held on the grounds of Boys Republic: 3493 Grand Ave, Chino Hills, CA 91709 (See map below).
Entry requires a donation $20.00 (All proceeds go to the Boys Republic) and the day will run from 7am-2pm. The In-N-Out Burger Truck will be on site from 10am - 1pm. For additional Information Contact Ron Harris (562) 755-8405 or email hrh@betbev.com
