The Jules Verne Festival presents "Steve McQueen: The Official 30th Anniversary Tribute Event"
	November 7 marks the 30th anniversary of Steve McQueen's death, and the Jules Verne Festival will honor his memory with "The Official 30th Anniversary Tribute Event" to be held in Los Angeles, California. The event will start on Sunday Nov 7th at 11.30 am with "The Steve McQueen Motor Parade". Attendance at the parade is free to the public, and Steve's son Chad will be driving the lead car. A good turnout of Mustangs, Porsches and Jaguars is expected. The motor parade will start at 11:00 am at the intersection of Cole Ave. and Fountain Ave., run through Cahuenga and Hollywood Blvd. and end at the intersection of Highland and Santa Monica Blvd., where ROAD 66 ends and where a SQUARE to be named after Steve McQueen will be inaugurated by councilmember Tom LaBonge. In memory of Steve's passion for car racing and collecting, preferred parade vehicles are Mustang, Porsche and Jaguar cars as well as Triumph motorcycles, however the Parade is open to all vehicles built between 1930 and 1980. The McQueen family will appear on stage, and during the evening Steve's son Chad McQueen and grandson Steven R. McQueen (Vampire Diaries) will accept the Jules Verne Légendaire Award to the late Steve McQueen on his behalf.
