New McQueen books in the works
Marshall Terrill’s Steve McQueen: Portrait of an American Rebel is being reissued with a new cover,
new foreword and new end chapter, with more
information on Dr Kelley (the doctor who administered Steve’s controversial cancer treatment) and Steve’s stay in the Mexican clinic where he recieved the treatment. Not
sure of the release date.
But even more exciting, Terrill has been in touch with Barbara Minty, and
they’ll be doing a photo book of the pictures she took of Steve from
1977 to 1980. He’s meeting with her in October, so I’d guess it’ll be
another year before we see it. But something to look forward to! |
