On Saturday, October 25th, as part of it’s Classic California auction at the Petersen Automotive Museum, auctioneers Bonhams and Butterfields will offer up for auction many items from the personal collection and belongings of Steve’s first wife, Neile McQueen Toffell.

Details are sketchy at this point, but we have it on word from a reliable source involved in the auction that among the items of Neile’s to be sold are the #2 2001 Bullitt Mustang prototype, which Mollie (Steve’s granddaughter) has been driving. There are also some of his racing trophies, his license from the 1964 ISDT bike race, a passport, and many movie props that later became household items.
